Ingredients of Chu Jelly

  1. Prepare 3 cup of fruit juice ( any kind you like really. apple juice will make it more transparent).
  2. Prepare 1 cup of tonic water ( substitute regular water if you don't like the bitterness) BONUS* tonic water will make your jelly glow under a black light!.
  3. Prepare 1 of food dyes of any color chu you wish to make.
  4. It's 4 packages of unflavored gelatin.
  5. It's 1 of honey or sweetener ( optional).
  6. Prepare 1 of a glass pitcher or funnel.
  7. It's 1 of any size/ shape bottles you like.

Chu Jelly instructions

  1. Be sure to have everything ready and accessible since we will be working with heat and time sensitive gelatin!!!.
  2. Bring your juice and tonic water to a boil. If you are adding honey or sweetener now is the time to do it!.
  3. After the liquid comes to a boil SLOWLY mix in gelatin while stirring continuously with a wooden spoon. The gelatin may clump if you add too much at one time.
  4. Pour the liquid into the bottles using your funnel or pitcher. Add your food coloring and stir until you are happy with the color and stick em' in the fridge to chill for about two hours or until the gelatin sets..
  5. You can eat this with a spoon like jell-o or you can stir in a bit more juice after it has set and drink a t just like Link! also is great with whipped cream/ Lon Lon cream ;).
